Summer Camps

WolfCampCover2010Wolf Camp ran its first nature and survival summer camps in 1997. We now offer a host of programs for kids, youth, adults and family. Directors Kim & Chris Chisholm are on site all week with our skilled instructors operating at our hallmark 6-1 average student-teacher ratio that’s so critical for safe, profound, and fun outdoor experiences.

It’s our passion to teach students practical life skills in the outdoors, and to reveal profound secrets of nature still hidden in plain sight all around our homes and in the wilderness. Now more than ever, young people need real connections to nature, as well as practical skills for healthy living and resiliency as they face the future.

Wolf Camp girl dancing with hair flipping around.June 29 – July 3, 2026 Lake Sammamish State Park – Hans Jensen Group Camp: Wilderness Skills Sampler Day Camp for ages 7-14 with no prerequisite, runs simultaneously with the Advanced FLOW Day Camp for ages 8-15 with prerequisite of any camp with us in a prior year. (Wilderness Skills Sampler Overnight Camp for ages 9-16 with no prerequisite, and the Advanced FLOW Overnight Camp for ages 10-17 with prerequisite of any prior camp with us, also run simultaneously on site following itineraries similar to the day camps.)

Runs simultaneously with the Advanced Skills of the Artisan day camp for ages 10-15 who have attended at least two prior camps and/or family workshops with us and whose parents attest that a camper can succeed in our method of knife safety and tool training. (Advanced Artisans overnight camp for ages 11-17 also runs simultaneously, with prerequisite of at least one of our overnight camps, or three of our day camps or family workshops before this week.)

Wolf Camper with metal bowl full of flowering herbs.July 13-17, 2026 Lake Sammamish State Park – Sunset Beach: Wild Cooking & Herbology day camp for ages 7-14 with no prerequisite for campers who can be focused in group learning environments or who have attended a prior camp with us, runs simultaneously with the Advanced Wilderness Survival day camp for ages 9-16 who have attended Wilderness Survival Craft or the family survival workshop, or two other day camps or family workshop themes, or any overnight camp in prior weeks or years.

July 13-17, 2026 Puyallup Clark’s Creek Park & Blue Skye Farm: Wilderness Survival Craft day camp for ages 7-14 with no prerequisite, and this theme is great for all hands-on learners ready to get dirty.

July 20-24, 2026 Puyallup Clark’s Creek Park & Blue Skye Farm: Wildlife Search & Rescue day camp for ages 7-14 with no prerequisite, for flexible learners ready to hike with day pack, and adapt to lessons where the birds and animals lead. (Out-of-this-World Wilderness Camp near Mt. Rainier also runs this week from Sunday 4pm – Friday 4pm for ages 11-16 who have attended at least one of our overnight camps in the past, or two of our day camps or family workshops prior to this week; runs simultaneously with the Advanced Wilderness Education & Survival Training for ages 12-17 who have attended the Out-of-this-World Wilderness camp before, or two other overnight camps with us in the past.)

July 27-31, 2026 Puyallup Clark’s Creek Park & Blue Skye Farm: Wild Cooking & Herbology day camp for ages 7-14 with no prerequisite, for campers who can be focused in group learning environments or who have attended a prior camp or family ethnobotany workshop with us.

July 27-31, 2026 Lake Sammamish State Park – Sunset Beach: Wildlife Search & Rescue day camp for ages 7-14 with no prerequisite: this theme is best for flexible learners, as lessons often follow where the birds and animals lead; runs simultaneously with the Advanced Conservation & Field Science day camp for ages 9-16 who have attended a combination of two other Wolf Camp weeks and/or family workshops.

August 3-7, 2026 Puyallup Clark’s Creek Park & Blue Skye Farm: Advanced Wilderness Survival day camp for ages 7-15 with prerequisite of Wilderness Survival Craft or the family survival workshop, or two of our other day camps or family workshop themes.

August 10-14, 2025 Puyallup Clark’s Creek Park & Blue Skye Farm: Advanced Wildlife Tracking & Birding day camp for ages 7-15 with prerequisite of Wildlife Search & Rescue or the family wildlife workshop, or two of our other day camps or family workshop themes.

August 10-14, 2026 Lake Sammamish State Park – Hans Jensen Group Camp: Wilderness Survival Craft day camp for ages 7-14 with no prerequisite, runs simultaneously with the Advanced Herbal Medicine, Cooking & Craft day camp for ages 9-15 with prerequisite of Wild Cooking & Herbology day camp or the family ethnobotany workshop, or two other day camps or family workshop themes, or any overnight camp in prior weeks or years. (Advanced Herbal Medics & Wild Chefs overnight camp for ages 10-16 also simultaneously, with same prerequisite as advanced herbal day camp.)

August 17-21, 2026 Puyallup Clark’s Creek Park & Blue Skye Farm: Advanced Herbal Medicine, Cooking & Craft day camp for ages 7-15 with prerequisite of Wild Cooking & Herbology or the family ethnobotany workshop, or two of our other day camps or family workshop themes.

(Advanced Ancient Scout overnight camp for ages 11-16 runs simultaneously, with prerequisite of at least one prior overnight camp with us and no exceptions. Advanced Zombie Apocalypse Survival Test overnight camp for ages 12-17 runs simultaneously, with prerequisite of Secrets of the Ancient Scout in prior years, and the Out-of-this-World Wilderness Camp this year or in prior years.)

August 24-28, 2026 Puyallup Clark’s Creek Park & Blue Skye Farm: Blue Skye Farm & Forest day camp for ages 8-15 who are ready to cultivate, weed, harvest and sell produce all day for farm stand proceeds, with prerequisite of any prior camp or family workshop with us.

(Epic GeoTrip – Subsistence Fishing overnight camp for ages 10-16 runs simultaneously Monday-Friday, with prerequisite of at least one prior overnight camp with us, followed by the Epic GeoTrek – Honorable Hunting, Photography & Field Science overnight camp for ages 12-17 starting Sunday, Aug 30th with campers staying as many days as they like through Friday or until their school year begins, and having prerequisites of the Out-of-this-World Wilderness Camp as well as a wildlife tracking camp and an advanced artisans camp with us.)

2026 Overnight Youth Camps at Lake Sammamish & Mt Rainier

June 29 – July 3, 2026 Wilderness Skills Sampler Overnight Camp for ages 10-16 has no prerequisite, and runs simultaneously with the Advanced FLOW Overnight Camp for ages 11-17 with prerequisite of any prior camp with us.  Both of these new overnight camp themes run from Monday 9am – Friday 4pm, and the links will go live after site reservations are confirmed this fall. Itineraries will follow a schedule similar to the Wilderness Skills Sampler and Advanced FLOW day camps running simultaneously on site this week.

July 6-10, 2026: Archers, Artists & Artisans at Lake Sammamish for ages 11-16 from Monday 9am – Friday 4pm, with prerequisite of at least one of our overnight camps in the past, or two of our day camps or family workshops prior to this week.

July 19-24, 2026: Out-of-this-World Wilderness Camp near Mt. Rainier from Sunday 4pm – Friday 4pm for ages 11-16, with prerequisite of at least one of our overnight camps in the past, or two of our day camps or family workshops prior to this week; runs simultaneously with the Advanced Wilderness Skills & Survival Trek for ages 12-17 who have attended the Out-of-this-World Wilderness camp before, or two other overnight camps with us in the past.

August 3-7, 2026 Tracking Bugs, Birds, Bobcats, Bears & Beyond at Lake Sammamish for ages 10-15 from Monday 9am – Friday 4pm, with prerequisite completion of our Wildlife Search & Rescue day camp or family wildlife workshop or any overnight camp prior to this week.

August 17-21, 2026 Secrets of the Ancient Scout at Lake Sammamish for ages 11-16 from Monday 9am – Friday 4pm, with prerequisite of at least one overnight camp with us prior to this week and no exceptions; the Advanced Zombie Apocalypse Survival Challenge overnight camp for ages 12-17 runs simultaneously, with prerequisite of • Secrets of the Ancient Scout in prior years, and the • Out-of-this-World Wilderness Camp this year or in prior years.

August 30, 2026 begins the Epic GeoTrek – Honorable Hunting, Photography & Field Science  for ages 11-17 starting Sunday and campers can stay as many days as they like through Friday, Sept 4th or until their school year begins, with prerequisites of the • Out-of-this-World Wilderness Camp as well as a • wildlife tracking camp and an • advanced artisans camp with us.

Registration officially opens January 1st but alumni can email us sooner to reserve spots once you know which dates/themes you prefer.
