Wolf Camp ran its first nature and survival summer camps in 1997. We now offer a host of programs for kids, youth, adults and family. Directors Kim & Chris Chisholm are on site all week with our skilled instructors operating at our hallmark 6-1 average student-teacher ratio that’s so critical for safe, profound, and fun outdoor experiences.

2027 Kids Day Camps in Puyallup & Lake Sammamish
June 21-25, 2027 Lake Sammamish State Park – Hans Jensen Group Camp:
• Advanced Animal Tracking: Bugs, Birds, Bobcats, Bears & Beyond for ages 8-11 & 11-16 who have attended our Wildlife Search & Rescue camp, our family wildlife tracking workshop, our Wilderness Skills Sampler and another other camp/workshop, or at least three other camps/workshops with us in the past.
June 28- July 2, 2027 Lake Sammamish State Park – Hans Jensen Group Camp:
• Wilderness Skills Sampler for ages 6-8, 8-10, 10-14 with no prerequisite;
• Advanced FLOW Camp for ages 8-14 with prerequisite of any of our camps in the past, and • Advanced Wilderness Survival for returning campers ages 9-16 who have attended Wilderness Survival Craft or two of our other camps/workshops in the past. (Taste of the Wilderness Overnight Sampler Camp runs simultaneously for ages 9-16 with no prerequisite.)
June 28 – July 2, 2027 Puyallup Clark’s Creek Park: Blue Skye Farm & Forest with no prerequisite for ages 8-10 & 11-16 who have real interest, focus and diligence to work on the farm.
July 5-9, 2027: Out-of-this-World Wilderness Camp near Mt. Rainier runs this week for ages 11-16 who have attended at least one of our overnight camps in the past, or two of our day camps or family workshops prior to this week; runs simultaneously with the Advanced Wilderness Education & Survival Training for ages 12-17 who have attended the Out-of-this-World Wilderness camp before, or two other overnight camps with us in the past.
July 12-16, 2027 Lake Sammamish State Park – Sunset Beach:
• Magical Outdoor FLOW for ages 6-8 & 8-10;
• Wildlife Search & Study: Bugs, Birds, Bobcats, Bears & Beyond for ages 8-10 & 11-14 with no prerequisite;
• Advanced Wildlife Science: Birding, Bugging & Animal Tracking for ages 10-16 with prerequisite of our wildlife tracking camps in the past, or our wilderness sampler camps earlier this summer, or any overnight camp.
July 12-16 , 2027 Puyallup Clark’s Creek Park: • Wildcrafting & Herbology for ages 7-10 & 10-16 who are able to focus on the study of plants, running at the same time as • Advanced Animal Tracking, Bugging & Birding for ages 9-16 who have attended our Wildlife Search & Rescue day camp in past years, or the family wildlife tracking workshop earlier this spring, or two other day camps or family workshop themes, or any of our overnight camps before.
July 19-23, 2027 Lake Sammamish: State Park – Sunset Beach:
• Navigating Nature & Scientific Mysteries for ages 6-8 & 8-10;
• Wildcrafting & Herbology for ages 8-10 & 11-14 with no prerequisite;
• Advanced Conservation & Field Science for ages 10-16 who have attended at least two other camps or a family workshop with us.
July 19-23 , 2027 Puyallup Clark’s Creek Park: Wildlife Search & Rescue: Bugs, Birds, Bobcats, Bears & Beyond for ages 7-10 & 11-16 with no prerequisite, running at the same time as Advanced Herbal Cooking & Medicine Craft for ages 9-16 who have attended our Wildcrafting & Herbology day camp before this week, or the family ethnobotany workshop earlier this spring, or two other day camps or family workshop themes, or any of our overnight camps before.
July 26-30, 2027 Lake Sammamish: State Park – Sunset Beach:
• Wildlife Search & Study: Bugs, Birds & Beyond for ages 6-8;
• Wild Navigation, First Aid, Search & Rescue for ages 8-10 & 11-14 with no prerequisite;
• Advanced Herbal Cooking & Medicine Craft for ages 10-16 with prerequisite of a prior herbology camp with us, or the wilderness sampler camp earlier this summer, or any overnight camp.
July 26-30, 2027 Puyallup Clark’s Creek Park: Wilderness Survival Craft for ages 7-9, 9-11, 11-16 with no prerequisite.
August 2-6, 2027 Lake Sammamish State Park – Hans Jensen Group Camp:
• Wilderness FLOW for ages 6-8; Wilderness Survival Craft for ages 8-10; Wilderness Survival Skills for ages 10-14;
• Wildcrafting & Herbology for ages 8-10 & 11-14;
• Advanced Skills of the Artisan for ages 10-16 who have attended at least three prior camps and/or family workshops with us and whose parents attest that a camper can succeed in our method of knife safety and tool training. (Overnight Artisans for ages 11-17 running simultaneously this week has same prerequisite as day camp).
August 9-13, 2027 Lake Sammamish State Park – Hans Jensen Group Camp:
• Wilderness FLOW for ages 6-8; Wilderness Survival Craft for ages 8-10; Wilderness Survival Skills for ages 10-14;
• Advanced Animal Tracking and • Advanced Herbal Cooking & Medicine Craft for ages 9-16 has prerequisite of successful completion of corresponding wildlife/herbology camps or family workshops with us, or the Wilderness Skills Sampler and at least one other program with us prior to this week. (Overnight Herbal & Overnight Animal Tracking for ages 9-16 run simultaneously and have the same prerequisites as the day camps.)
August 16-20, 2027 Lake Sammamish State Park – Hans Jensen Group Camp:
• Wild Hiking & Navigation for ages 6-8, 8-10, 10-14;
• Advanced Wilderness Survival for campers ages 9-16 who have attended Wilderness Survival Craft or two other camps in prior weeks or years;
• Double Advanced Conservation Scout for ages 10-17 who have attended at least three prior camps with us. (Advanced Ancient Scout & Advanced Zombie Apocalypse overnight camps runs simultaneously with multiple overnight camp prerequisites and no exceptions.)
August-23-27 , 2027 Puyallup Clark’s Creek Park: Advanced Wilderness Survival and Advanced Farm & Forest camps for ages 8-16 with prerequisite of our Wilderness Survival Craft or Blue Skye Farm & Forest day camps. (August 23-27, 2027 Epic Subsistence Fishing Trip runs simultaneously for ages 10-16 with prerequisite of at least one prior overnight or day camp with us and no exceptions.)
2027 Overnight Youth Camps at Lake Sammamish, Mt. Rainier and the Salish Sea
June 28 – July 2, 2027 Taste of the Wilderness Overnight Sampler Camp for ages 9-16 has no prerequisite and runs from Monday 9am – Friday 4pm. Itinerary will follow a schedule similar to the Wilderness Skills Sampler day camp.
July 5-9, 2027: Out-of-this-World Wilderness Camp near Mt. Rainier from Monday 11am – Friday 5pm for ages 11-16, with prerequisite of at least one of our overnight or two day camps, running simultaneously with the Advanced Wilderness Education & Survival Training for ages 12-17 who attended Out-of-this-World Wilderness before.
August 2-6, 2027: Archers, Artists & Artisans at Lake Sammamish for ages 11-16 from Monday 9am – Friday 4pm, with prerequisite of at least one of our prior overnight camps, or two of our day camps and/or family workshops.
August 9-13, 2027 World of Animals – Tracking Bugs, Birds, Bobcats, Bears & Beyond and World of Plants – Wild Chefs & Herbal Medics run simultaneously at Lake Sammamish for ages 9-16 from Monday 9am – Friday 4pm, with prerequisite of at least one of our prior overnight camps, or successful completion of a corresponding wildlife/herbology day camps or family workshop with us, or the Wilderness Skills Sampler and at least one other program with us prior to this week.
August 16-20, 2027 Secrets of the Ancient Scout overnight camp at Lake Sammamish for ages 11-16 runs from Monday 9am – Friday 4pm, with prerequisite of at least one overnight camp with us prior to this week and no exceptions; the Advanced Zombie Apocalypse Survival Challenge overnight camp for ages 12-17 runs simultaneously, with prerequisite of • Secrets of the Ancient Scout in prior years, and the • Out-of-this-World Wilderness Camp this year or in prior years.
August 23-27, 2027: Epic Subsistence Fishing Trip starts on Monday morning at the Puyallup River, travels to the Salish Sea, and ends on the Pacific Coast before returning to Puyallup for a Friday evening fish feast, for ages 10-16 with prerequisite of at least one overnight or day camp with us prior to this week.
